Charleston Day 2

A fine breakfast arrived at my door. It was as good as I had remembered.

Then it was time to head out on slow walk.

Who knew that the first Saturday of the month is Walk Your Wiener Dog Day.

It was a lovely warm day. Girls were out wearing sun dresses and tennis shoes. By evening the girls were sunburned still wearing summer dresses but they had switched to uncomfortable shoes.

It was also a busy day for the horses. They are still wandering about. Complete with headlights and tail lights.
Stopped by a nice cemetery. One of the residents “Elizabeth Jones fell asleep March 21, 1857”

Those 19th century people knew how to exit. They didn’t end up in plastic crematorium boxes in someone’s garage.

Then I returned to the hotel to rest up prior to going to my birthday linner.

A vat of Bouillabaisse. It was also as good as I remembered.

That was enough. That’s the SMALL portion. Didn’t have dessert or cocktails. Maybe tomorrow I will just have cocktails and dessert.

82 is not the new 62. 82 is Accept and Adapt.
