Serious gratitude today. Grateful for Granddaughters. Especially the oldest grand, who is 22 today. Grateful that they are still part of my life. Thank you Carlton – for granddaughters.
More serious gratitude. Yesterday, I took a big old plastic storage box – about as big I can carry to the thrift shop. Well, I tossed my purse in the storage box along with the rest of Carlton’s stuff. At the thrift shop – out came my purse – but my antique cell phone stayed in the box. Last night a 10:30 I discovered the cell had gone missing. I looked all over the room and lanai. I called it using Skype. No joy. I was grateful that Carlton was not around to criticize. At about one AM – I realized that the phone was most likely in the plastic box. Well, after yoga – another private class – I walked to the thrift shop – and there it was. My beloved antique G2 clamshell just makes calls phone was there. I am not as lame as that phone might make me appear. I have a sweet iPad Mini with a 3Gig/month data plan. I have separated the “smart” and the “phone”.
Going out to dinner tonight at 4:45. So, I left out my “second breakfast” and moved lunch forward. I will definitely be ready to eat early this evening.
