Those of you who are Carlton’s AA friends know all about Gratitude. I think it is an AA thing. Or at least a Carlton AA thing. No matter what the problem – for Carlton – gratitude was the answer. I used to tell him “I am not in AA. I am a civilian. I don’t have to be grateful.”
But, here it is – Thanksgiving Week. I’ll think about gratitude for a few days. I might even BE grateful.
Feeling a little superficial today. So, superficial gratefulness
Grateful to be here in Kona where you call 324-BEER for your thanksgiving day dinner.
Grateful that today I got the next to last load of Carlton’s Kona stuff to the thrift shop this morning. I only have a few tools left to take.
Got an email from the management of the Arlington apartment telling everyone:
“If you are hosting and cooking this Thanksgiving here at Virginia Square, please check your oven to make sure that it is working properly… If you are having any issue, please report it to us no later than tomorrow so that we have time to fix it before Thursday.”
I guess cooking Thanksgiving dinner is going to be interesting for some of my neighbors. Might want to remind them to take the giblets out of the bird too! Oh, here is another one:
Grateful that I am NOT cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. EVER again. 324-BEER.
Grateful that it is nice and peaceful at the Kona Seaside. That is why I like Kona in November.
