We have been married 19 years today. We don’t seem to have any plans. Except to make it to 20 years.
Thank you, Carlton for 30+ years. Thanks for being my best friend. Thanks for grand daughters. Thanks for winters in the sun. And for summers in National Parks.
We have at least one grass/brush fire a month. Our village gets less than 20 inches of rain a year. And, that usually comes in several massive rainstorms. But, the good news is – there is plenty of water handy for dousing.
Happy Anniversary ! I will always remember as our team would guess who your mystery fella was – Carlton that rascal had us all fooled!

The newest ipod touch gives and taketh away.
As you note the improved camera – while still a gen behind dedicated cam or the iphone its quite decent. The big thing is it is aways in my pocket in a thin cover. The same toy that lets me browse and email from free wifi, play music, read ebooks when I don’t have the kindle with me, takes good ( not great ) pics – I’ll try to send a few. Sadly no turtles grin. As you know the camera that is always there – wins. Amazing device for the length of a snickers bar and the thickness of a dorito. Doesn’t melt in pocket either. LED flash for close dark shots. Reasonable video.
However the new charging / interface standard is under tight Apple control and they are charging around $30 for an adaptor – rendering most current stands and accesories useless. Sometimes, from the reviews of the adaptor it will allow a dock or stand to play music but not charge. Real useful if like Apple you need to sell a new round of accessory devices. I kinda knew this going in though so no more crying…
