I am NOT a scrapbook person – but I do find it hard to toss out “trip chaff”. But, I do. Just take a picture of it and pitch it. That was one fine trip that the granddaughter and I made to Japan 2 years ago. Now, she is all grown up and in Costa Rico by herself and in 3 weeks or so, I’ll head out on the Great North American Train Trip – also by myself.
Been tracking the “on time” arrival status of my trains. This one – the Empire Builder – from Chicago to East Glacier Park Montana has definite timeliness issues.
That makes my 26 hour train trip a 31 hour train trip. It also means if I am getting on that train going to Seattle – I’ll be darn happy to have my room for another day. BTW – if I were on that train I would have missed my bus to Vancouver.
Who would have thought that Justice Roberts would be on “my” side of today’s Supreme Court decision??? It is enough to make an old woman reconsider her position. At least Justice Thomas was on some other side. Rumor has it that Justice Thomas was replace by an android years ago and is fishing guide somewhere in the Caribbean these days.
Did I mention it is hot here today?
