Wet this afternoon. In fact I got drenched coming home from grocery shopping. The groceries were safe. I was all wet. But, one thing I learned last summer in Japan was that if it is warm you just keep doing whatever you were doing and just get wet.
So, I am taking advantage of the wet afternoon to clean off the little computer. After boot-n-nuke finishes, I’ll load up Ubuntu and Samba and decide if I want to keep this machine around. It is tiny. Too tiny for my old lady eyes. Maybe I’ll find it a new home.
Funny Carlton story. He admires a poem that is on a tombstone. He was sure it was unique. And he wants it read at his memorial service. I told him “Just write down the first sentence and I’ll find it online”… Well, you would believe that Carlton didn’t believe me. He copied the whole thing. And asked me to type it up for him. I entered the first 5 words. Found it online. Had it printed out in less than 5 minutes. I found the poem on a “Dead Dog Memorial” Web site.
If you come to Carlton’s memorial service, or if your dog dies – then you too can share the “unique” poem.
(No, we don’t have the memorial service scheduled. Carlton is just very interested in his memorial service.)
