You might have noticed that HP is getting out of the computer business. My one and only HP computer – the HP Vista Whore – melted its own motherboard. And, this weekend continues to haunt me. When it was dying – I backed everything up on DVDs. I decided to see if I really need to save those DVDs – from March 2009. Well, the DVDs mount OK. And list the directory. But, I have not been able to copy a single one. Each DVD contains at least one file that forces me to cancel the copy and reboot the computer.
HP should have gotten out of the computer business 5 years ago – then I would have missed the HP Vista Whore.
