The ordinary things photo from July 2 – a pile of hats atop a potted plant in the Albuquerque Airport. Or rather SUNport. It is called the SUNport. From the SUNport – one should be able to go to somewhere a damn site better than Chicago.
Yesterday was spent getting back home. I got off the plane in Chicago and had 12 minutes to get to my next flight over in the next terminal. What to do? Run. What else? Run fast. Run on the moving sidewalk. Excuse Me. Coming Thru. Move Over. Run down the stairs. Run up the escalators. Screech up to the gate after everyone else is on board. Only after I am sitting in my seat do I check my phone and discover that I had been rebooked on a flight out the next morning. Not my problem. Glad I didn’t check my phone prior to the mad dash. I would have spent the night in the Chicago airport. Or spent $100 on a hotel. Running was better. Aerobic connections.
And the “Ordinary Things” photo from July 3.

I decided that Ordinary Things do not have to be black and white. But can be. The hats seemed to work better in color.
