Day – 24 Santa Fe

Day 24 - Another Side of Santa Fe

Not so very sure the Santa Fe Visitor’s Bureau would consider the Roller Derby Chicks as a part of their vision of Santa Fe.

I can only call it bad camera karma. My ZS3 has a rather large flake of whatever INSIDE the lens. Fortunately at this instant it is on the extreme left hand side. And, since I nearly always crop to square – I can survive. As long as the flake stays were it is. The last good shot was from my early shooting yesterday. The first shot of the late day session has the smudge. It just appeared. I can see the flake. No amount of tapping, zooming, turning on and off affect the flake. I wish I could blame it on the desert. But, I can not. It is just bad kamera karma. Or camera carma.

Today I went to the state capital, went on a train ride, walked all over creation, checked out some thrift shops, road the city bus, went to a museum, looked at old cars and did not purchase a $1,000 hat.

  1. Hi,
    bad camera karma…
Sure, the FT2 is dustproof, but if you had taken it, the ZS3 would have got this problem later… or not ! bad karma…
I answered you on dpreview with a link on a funny technique to fix it (don’t know if it works)
    Have a nice day.
