Today seemed like a good day for a walk.
Got in about 2 miles, then hopped a bus back to the Asylum.

This is Southwest Boundary Stone No. 6 (SW6). It sits in the median outside the Asylum.
For me, its very existence is a symbol of hope.
The Boundary Stones were placed in 1791-1792 by order of President Washington.
And it’s still there.
Never mind that it was hit by a car a couple of years ago.
SW6 is a survivor.
Grateful for a nice day and a good walk.
