Coming into Vancouver

I love this, a seaplane and the seaplane gas station

I found my hotel. I last stayed here 15 years ago and it’s virtually unchanged.

This is my favorite Japanese store in North America. I was last here less than two years ago. But it’s in a neighborhood that is gentrifing. So, it’s closing forever at the end of the month. Another lesson in “impermanence”.

Been going here forever. It’s so wonderfully “incorrect”.

I think that Japadog has actually turned into a franchise. But, this is the mothership.

Gotta have a sign.

I almost went in to see if they would let me stay in Canada.

After 5 miles of wandering around downtown Vancouver I was ever so happy to be back at the yWca

Haven’t a clue what to do tomorrow. Nobody’s promised tomorrow. But if I win another day, I’ll figure out something to do with it.
