Panama Canal Trip Day 1 – life in the old lane

I could see the ship from my hotel. But, I was told it was “impossible” to walk there. I decided to call an Uber. That was a very mature decision. IMHO.

I am pretty sure I could have walked to the ship. But, I got here fine via Uber.

The WiFi that I am paying $17 a day for, doesn’t seem to be very good.

We are still parked. Wondering if we are going under that bridge. Last bridge I went under on a ship isn’t there any more.

That’s about all there is to the room. No chair. No sofa. It has ONE electrical outlet. But – it has a window. And a tiny bathroom. What more do I need? I am all unpacked. I have discovered where to get good coffee. Life is good. Even if I have my doubts about the WiFi.
