Made it all the way to Wednesday.

Today’s Spring Flower. Star Magnolia.

Another nice day. But the chill is expected back tomorrow. Today’s main event was wind. Made my 3 mile walk without any problem.

The Twilight Zone

Had to make a new entry in my Learning To Be Old List
10. No excuses – 5 minutes of yoga stretches every single day.

Turns out that one of my favorite DC Cherry Trees is loved by many and it is scheduled to become mulch (along with 150 other cherry trees) later this spring. Nothing nefarious. A seawall needs to be replaced.

And still it blooms. There is a lesson here.

I got a nice picture of the tree last spring. That’s better than going down to see it this year and knowing it’s “the last time”. Remember, I don’t like “last times”. There is a second lesson: Nobody is promised tomorrow.

WIP – Origami.

I am temporarily stymied. But remain optimistic that I can get it together. If not then off it goes to recycling.
