Uneventful trip on the Capital Limited from Chicago to DC and all the way back to the Old Bat’s Cave.

So. What did I learn over the last 2 months?

- I don’t swim out as far as I did even last year.
- I enjoyed cooking for myself.
- I can still get around an unknown city after dark.
- Spending a short night in an expensive hotel is not a waste of money.
- I still like train travel. Xmas on the train isn’t like most other days on the train. Think family groups. Wearing matching jammies.
- I need to guard against being too “tired”, too “afraid”, or too “old” to do stuff. What’s the worst that can happen?
