Eating and Remembering

Breakfast!

I had decided last night that I would have a peanut butter and banana sandwich for dinner and have breakfast this morning. Which I did. Two eggs, rice, awesome bacon, toast, and coffee.

The ocean looked even rougher than usual – so – I decided to make one more run at my old hotel and try to get my wetsuit back. Not only did I get my wetsuit back but I got invited to a retirement lunch for one of my oldest friends on the island.

One more time with old friends.

So, I am very well fed tonight. Dinner will be coffee. And maybe yogurt.

I got more than a wetsuit back. I got a big old 25-gallon plastic storage box full of stuff. I guess some of it will follow me back to the asylum. I should just close it back up and take it to the thrift shop without further investigation.

It seems pretty silly to be rapidly approaching 78 and still lug wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and fins around. But, I love snorkeling. I hate being cold. And, I don’t know if I can still wiggle into the wetsuit. There is more to me than there was in March 2020.
