Report on the new Echo and its alleged Zigbee mesh net abilities. So far so good. I sprung for the simplest device I could imagine – a plug. It arrived this morning. I plugged the plug in and plugged in a lamp. “Computer Discover New Devices”. The blue light goes round and round and my plug was discovered. So, the automation of the Old Bat’s Cave is underway. She who dies with the most toys wins.
