And this is why I have a “cook top”

Out to dry

I guess I really have a cooktop because The Asylum insisted. (I don’t have an oven) But, the cooktop is a fine place to dry out money that needed a little freshening up before being converted into origami.

AND, I realized that I could use money from my shoebox of monies from places I have been. Money that in most cases is no longer “good”. Because the country is no longer in business or because the country has changed currency since I was there last and converting it is just too much trouble. Even if it is possible. The blue 5 is Canadian and is still good. The green and yellow 2’s are from Austrailia mid-1970s. So, expect currency origami.

The finished products.

And here is a sweet $20 gift – plus a reason to take a trip up to Canada – as if a reason is needed. Oh, Canada!

And, I did spring into action getting a few little odds and ends settled before heading off to Kona – One week from today.

. . .

First in war, first in peace, and last in the American League
