Got a place to sleep…

Greenbank – Bermuda – my lodgings.

And, I decided on the old but interesting place with a dock to sit upon.

Interesting Bermuda fact – the entire country seems to be closed on Aug2 and 3rd for a cricket match. Sort of like “Superbowl Sunday” – but cricket being cricket it takes a couple of days to complete a game.

Carlton and I spent a lot of time in New Zealand years ago and after a couple of months, we managed to figure out cricket. We had to get past stopping play for “tea” and the silly scores – things like “120 not out”. But the end of our stay we found ourselves saying – we have to get back to where ever we were staying because cricket came on the one TV channel at 4 PM.  It was a LONG time ago.

After these lodgings – I have been assured that there be wifi and there might be coffee. Not counting on either.  I am planning on 5 minimal technology days. But, there will be coffee. Trust me. There will be coffee. Tea doesn’t do it.

To work for a little tomorrow morning. Then back to the old bat cave to do laundry and toss a few things in a bag. The Asylum makes it very easy to just go away.
