Memorial Day Weekend.

Myer-Emco Died 2010 – now hookah lounge.

Getting my exercise by walking around outside this morning. Came past an old time “hi-fi/stereo” shop. Long shuttered. But, over the years, it got more than it’s share of my money. They were in business for over 100 years – no – they didn’t sell hi-fi gear to Teddy Roosevelt – but they did outfit the Kennedy White House with the latest in high fidelity devices. (The business started in the late 1800s. They sold gold braid and other military accouterments.) But now, Myer-Emco no more and the location is a hookah lounge. (And I listen to most of my music via Pandora. Which is good enough for these elderly ears.)

Stormtrooper referees killer croquet match at the asylum this morning.
And Stormtrooper is also in charge of a gardening work gang.

These good people are working on the shady side of the garden. My “area” is on the sunny side. I spent a good 3 hours in my area weeding and planting.
