It was absolutely perfect. Could not have been better. It was just like all the pictures that I have seen since smallkidtime when I wanted to be an astronomer.
We found a very civilized location for viewing and did not run into any traffic or other problems.
And yes, we could see stars.
Worth the entire trip. Check “total eclipse” off the bucket list.
Definitely worth the trip. Short but I suppose most good things are! Our group of 5 from 4 to 60 was impressed and the lake/river we were was fun to kayak. Hot down there though.
