There are people here at the asylum who are my the age my parents would be if they had made it past 90. Lots of people actually. And they are in charge of the music. This is not a rock and roll friendly establishment. At Goodwin House, Scarlet Begonias are a type of potted plant and Rolling Stones gather no moss. Bose noise cancelling cans are a good thing!
On the other hand, I had dinner last night with a woman who had came to DC during WWII and worked breaking Japanese codes. Her husband died a couple of months ago and she just wanted someone to eat with. I had no idea she had such a great back story.
