Happy Thursday

Still too windy for practicing macro bee photography. But, that didn’t stop me from trying.

I am feeling pretty boring. Just going to work everyday. Come home. Take bee and jello pictures. Dinner with friends. Off to bed. Rinse and repeat.

But, the last two year’s of Carlton’s life and the first year after were action packed. Maybe it is time to slow down. Take stock. Calibrate for the last act.

Dark red jello with junk again today. I am starting to think they make jello every other day. Or maybe Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Guess that jello lasts pretty good.

  1. Hi Peg, The recurring Jell-O theme reminds me of some of my Navy days. As you walk through the line one of the last things they through on your tray was Jell-O. We had a special kind of Jell-O it looked good, smelled good, but would not melt, Even the heat from The hot steel tray would not make it melt, you had to chew it. Maybe your new place has hired a former Navy chef who specialized in Jell-O. I never got used to the Navy Jell-O.

you mentioned that you were bored and that perhaps you needed to re-calibrate which is a good idea. When we have major changes or developments we have to figure out new things to do new ways of doing things and generally readjusting our lifestyle. A deep-sea diver who has been down exploring the ocean floor has to reenter the surface environment incrementally otherwise all sorts of bad things can happen to him or her. A lot of gut wrenching things have occurred that required that you deal with and finalize a lot of things in the past couple of years. Perhaps the feelings you are experiencing now are not boredom, but the re-calibration of a different kind of life’s style, which over time will seem more acceptable. I am bad about giving out unsolicited ideas. Based on the things that you have enumerated that you have taken care of I would have to say you have done One whale of a great job with tender loving care. Bob Zee
