Haven’t had a bird in a while. This guy wasn’t real close – but it is our Hawaiian Coot. The Hawaiian Coot is recognized as a subspecies of the American Coot. There are a couple thousand of them and they are on the Endangered Species List. I saw this one this morning at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Park.
Had a busy day. I started and finished a project. That feels good. Very good. The project was simple. I scanned some old family photos for a friend – and photoshopped one of them into a printable 5×7. And, I printed it. At WalMart.
