I was at the (old) airport when the ship came in. Holland America’s Veendam and the Kona Aggressor – a live aboard dive boat.
When I got back to the dock the tenders were coming in. With an honor guard of dolphins.
They were our “big” dolphins. Bottlenose Dolphins.
I am a well known nerdy introvert. Well, this old woman went for a walk and coffee with a friend early this morning, then I went to say ByeBye and Aloha to friends from Canada who are going back home tonight. Finally I had a late lunch with 3 other friends. That this is pretty damn sociable for me. And that is how it is now 17 weeks into widowhood.
Time for a beer and maybe some origami.
