Daily Duties

Halftime at Polo
Halftime at Polo

Laundry today. I took Carlton’s snorkel gear to the thrift shop. And, I got a couple more t-shirts from the thrift shop. I never leave a thrift shop empty handed.  Hardboiled eggs in the rice cooker. And sort to researched and thought about things financial.

I feel bereft. I lost my best friend. My safety net. My personal cheerleader. My financial adviser. I lost the person I talked to. The person who was my “next of kin”. The person who understood me better than I understand myself. Bereft.

And, I am a little scared about the future.

  1. Peg,

Positive thoughts, prayers, and friendship wishes continue to flow your way as you take your steps.

    Warm aloha…a couple islands away,

  2. Peg,
I love your blog! Your photos are fantastic. You will have ups and downs for quite awhile but you are doing the right thing of writing down your feelings. Being a little scared is normal – whatever the heck normal is :)). Hugs!
