Last evening I went out on the porch to look for the launch of a private supply rocket headed for the space station. The rocket did not take off. The space station made a very nice lazy fly over. And, for some reason there were fireworks down Alexandria way. Altogether satisfactory outdoor viewing. This evening the rocket was schedule to take off again. It blew up on the launch pad. Not a really good day, if you were an investor in Orbital Science.
Saw the doctor this morning – she says all things considered my blood pressure is OK. I am to stay the course and come back in the spring.
For the first time – the mailbox didn’t contain any “widow business”. Just advertisements. Very Good.
