Enjoy Every Sandwich: We will be having tuna salad for sandwiches for dinner. But, I made myself as super sandwich for lunch – left over chicken, provolone and blueberries stuffed into pita and nuked a little. Mr C went out to lunch today.

You don’t know me but my hubby Joe has been MCC free for about 5 1/2 years now , I saw your posts on the group Peg and the link to this site, love reading all your posts and just wanted to wish Carlton all the best, the beast is looking less scary for sure today .
I am Australia but have been to Hawaii and loved it , and yes my name is Hawaiian so I feel a special closeness to it, although I am as Irish and English as they come , probably of convict decent haha

Thanks Leilani – It is good to know that anyone survives this beast. In the early days of his diagnosis – I was going to just take him to Australia – at the time I figured that Australia had lots of fairskinned people and a whole lot of sun. So, your doctors must know more about Merkel cell than doctors in Hawai’i or Washington DC. Then I found the group – and realized that people did survive. And, it was worth trying something. For now the radiation is going in the right direction.
