Well, today was the first day of radiation. Playing the good wife I went down to be with Mr C in Radiation Oncology. I found him, covered in blood. From head to toe. Seems he had a bike wreck. So, he got himself back home – the bike is undamaged – and got in the car and drove over to get nuked.
The radiation folks didn’t let a little blood stop them. They did their thing. Then I forced Mr C over to the Emergency Department – where they cat-scanned his head, and xrayed his hand and sewed up his face. Then we came home.
ps – radiation – piece of cake compared to the bike wreck.
No more excitement required today, please.
Dear Peg and Mr. C~
Life in the FAST lane! You are truly AMAZING!!! SUCH an inspiration!!
I hope that tomorrow goes more smoothly for you….please take good care.
Love you guys, me xo

My wishes for a speedy recovery. I haven’t been riding much – I’m too fat lately, a bit of a circular problem. I did take many bicycle ( and motorcycle) spills – one of which was off the trunk, roof, and hood of a rusty Oldsmobile panic braking and serving to make the turn for a pawnbrokers shop. The driver wanted to sue me for disturbing his rust finish.
Anyway second day is usually the worse – hang tough Mr C !
Did you see the Wallops Island launch?
Dave
No Dave – did not see the Wallops Island launch – except on the computer video feed. We were positioned by the windows with binoculars in hand – but we didn’t see the rocket. Unlike the one in September – I think it was – that was just like in the 1950’s sci-fi films.
Oops ‘swerving’ not ‘serving’.
Anyway feel better soon!
Dave
Wow, two happenings in one day. Good there were no major head injuries or bones broken. The Good Luck Angel was riding on the bike with “Mr. C”. Now the Good Luck Angel needs to stick around to help with the treatments.
Good Luck,Stand Tall”Mr. C”. I know you will, cause your that kind of guy. The best to you “Mr. C”, and Peg I know you will hang tough too. Bob Zee
