The sun peaked out today and the rain stayed away… And, the dolphins came out to play.

This guy is actually teaching a hula group. We have water aerobics and water walking. Also, water hula.

Nobody is Promised Tomorrow. . .

The local pig food collection center. That should keep us country.
Three weeks from now we will be on our way home.
About the Olympics, why don’t we win all the hardware in the biathlon? Shooting and skiing? What is so hard about that in our 2nd amendment loving mountain states? Get with it Colorado.
Happy with the results of my fitness and diet program. So happy, that I know I can not stop. If I expect to keep the goodness, I’ll have to eat less and exercise more for as long as I am able.

Went up to the old airport to watch whales today. This big guy kept sticking his head out of the water.

And this one took great pleasure waving bye bye.
And one from yesterday for Doug. You can get really close to the dolphins. I can swim out to them, but it worries Carlton, so I don’t. The dolphins don’t mind well mannered swimmers. And, they seem to really enjoy dogs. So, folks who have good ocean going dogs swim out with their dogs.
Anyhow, Doug here is a full frame shot with swimmers… The dolphin is by the red arrow.
Reading “The Hobbit” and playing chess with the iPad. Maybe, I am having a second childhood?
I have walked 153 miles since January 20. It has taken a toll on my knees, so I am going to cut the walking back. Will increase my swimming. I don’t seem to be going gracefully into my 70s.
Mr C continues to enjoy apparent good health. I am enjoying this good period too.

It involves 9 guys beating on tree parts

And, women wearing coconut bras.
No matter how you cut it, Tahitian dancing is all about sex. The men are all saying “Mine is bigger than yours will ever be” and the women respond with “OH REALLY, show me”.
I had a great time. At the annual Tahitian dance contest today.
Lousy fotos. It was in a gymnasium.
Gotta say, I am glad we are in Kona. Five mile walk, 30 minutes of yoga and 15 minutes of ocean swimming. And, no elevator riding. BTW, we are on the5th floor. This is my fitness program. I am really not into this fitness shit.
Picked up a Japanese magazine from the lobby. It is like a trip to japan. I haven’t a clue what is going on. One section seems to be about living with in your budget. And there is a large fashion section. And a few things that might be cooking. The decorating section seems to have houses in the US and American families. Or maybe it is the travel section? As you can see, I am easily amused.
