Hi Peg, based on my recollection of campaigns of the past the similarity of the 1824 and carryover to 1828 seems comparable.
The 24 is more closely aligned to the Bush 43 Al Gore contest, not the same but similar. 1828 was a real humdinger.Both of those early contests are interesting to read about.
