Got the stuff boxed up and ready to go. Told Carlton it would cost about $90 to send the boxes.

Needless to say, we are back in the pack animal business. Carlton said that since the boxes were already packed ... we would just take them to the airport and check them like luggage. He even attached these cute little ropes.

Now, if we were going to an upmarket resort; arriving with no luggage and two boxes might be problematic. But, at the Kona Seaside - boxes are decidedly upscale - plastic bags from the grocery store are the norm.

Actually, since we have no storage space here in the apartment - boxes are a pretty sensible solution.
