When I left Edinburgh at noon it was 50 degrees. 300 miles and 4 hours later it was 77. It was so nice that I decided to ditch the tube and just walk to the hotel.
And quite a hotel it turned out to be.
when I arrived they took one look at me and they decided that I didn’t belong on the 5 floor since they have no elevators. I am on the first floor.
Took a couple of fun shots during my last few hours in Edinburgh.

Today, 6-25, is Anthony Bourdain’s birthday. You definitely epitomize his philosophy! I think this is a good quote from him: “If I’m an advocate for anything, it’s to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else’s shoes or at least eat their food, it’s a plus for everybody. Open your mind, get up off the couch, move.” Keep on trucking…Peg!
